Invitation
Jae Hyun Park President of the KSHRS
Dear Colleagues and Friends,

I am Jae-Hyun Park, President of the Korean Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (KSHRS).

I sincerely welcome all attendees to the 18th Annual Meeting of the Korean Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (KSHRS).

Our Korean Society of Hair Restoration Surgery has now reached its 18th iteration, and I believe it has demonstrated remarkable growth in both content and quality. It is recognized as one of the most outstanding programs in Asia and a leading international society. I believe all of this is thanks to the dedication and hard work of our society members. As President, I express my deepest respect and gratitude. I believe the program for this 18th KSHRS meeting has been exceptionally well-organized in terms of depth and completeness. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the Scientific Directors for their hard work.

This conference features special lectures by world-renowned experts: Dr. Marie Schambach from Guatemala, Dr. Anastasios Vekris from Greece, and Dr. Parsa Mohebi from the United States. Their presentations draw from decades of clinical experience. Notably, Saturday's session includes live surgical video demonstrations by all three, offering members a vivid opportunity to learn their surgical techniques firsthand. We look forward to it with great anticipation.

Beyond this, the program is packed with many other highly anticipated lectures. Saturday includes a panel discussion on the Impact of AI on the field of hair transplant surgery, featuring renowned speakers in this rapidly emerging field. This promises to be a fascinating discussion.

Saturday also features diverse lectures and video presentations by experienced speakers, offering many sessions you won't want to miss.

Sunday brings an even richer lineup. Three international guest speakers will present, and the “New Clinical Insights in Hair Transplant Surgery” session will feature previously unpublished content sure to draw interest.

Sunday afternoon also offers excellent content. We have prepared a session where experienced speakers will share their know-how and discuss techniques for achieving natural results in female hairline correction, an area where South Korea possesses world-leading expertise.

Furthermore, the final session is packed with lectures you won't want to miss. A plastic surgery professor with extensive experience in reconstructive surgery at a university will lecture on tissue expansion, a technique that may be unfamiliar to us. There are also many fresh and substantial lectures, including Botox hair loss treatment, methods to reduce post-operative shock loss, and a comprehensive review of anesthesia during hair transplant surgery.

I sincerely hope the 18th Korean Society of Hair Restoration Surgery Conference provides an unforgettable experience for many and serves as a valuable platform for learning and exchange.

Thank you.

Warmest regards

Jae Hyun Park MD.Ph.D. FISHRS
